Philosophy

Metamorphic Counseling International Corp. is an organization created for the treatment of psychological disorders with a faith-based perspective. Going thought the process of change and transformation may be painful but necessary to achieve a life with purpose, stability and happiness. The therapeutic perspective is to engage in a process to fly high. The negative response to past experiences has to be relieved. Experiences that left people psychologically affected with major life loses, changes, illnesses, losing valuable material possessions and money, traumatic sexual and mental abuse as a child or adult or having faced traumatic natural disasters, wars and situations that have caused intense fears, despair, confusion, and many other psychological and spiritual damage on the individual. For many people some of these life experiences may have left them suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder mainly for the Military Veterans.

We are organized for charitable, educational and more specifically to empower every member of the community to overcome the damages and challenges presented by PTSD and traumatic events through professional counseling and follow up.

Vision:

Be recognized as an institution that provides psychotherapy, primarily focused to treat PTSD using faith-based principles.

Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then, you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Dr. Artiles’ own personal experiences, professional knowledge as a psychologist and her own spiritual growth in her Christian faith moved her to create this counseling center with the philosophy of a holistic approach following a structured system of treatment called Metamorphosis.
